Fellows in Coastal Management

Coastal States Organization is honored to have the opportunity to work with the next generation of Coastal Managers throught the John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship Program, the NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship Program, and the Digital Coast Fellowship Program.

 

Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. 

 

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI)

National Asian/Pacific American Heritage week was first established in 1978 and in 1992 became Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month to celebrate and bring awareness to the culture, history, and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

 

Women's History Month

National Women’s History Month was established in 1987 to recognize that the role of American women in history has been consistently overlooked and undervalued. CSO recognizes the women who have pioneered in the coastal zone management field.
