Hawai'i Coastal Zone Management Program
Program Overview
The Hawaii Coastal Management Program was approved by NOAA in 1978 and is led by the Hawaii Office of Planning. The coastal management program is a network of authorities and partnerships collectively implementing the objectives and policies of Hawaii’s Coastal Zone Management Statutes (Chapter 205A, HRS).
The entire state of Hawaii falls within Hawaii’s coastal zone boundary.
