Program Overview
The Illinois Coastal Management Program was approved by NOAA in 2012 and is led by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The program manages impacts to its Lake Michigan shoreline through the Rivers, Lakes, and Streams Act, Lake Michigan Shore Line Act, and a network of other authorities.
